Fringing !!!!!
Here are some images of the development of the fringe dress which is now a two piece as it works better that way.  Maybe also will include beading and plaiting on the yarn......

The shape above of the fringing being tucked into the skirt did not give a flattering shape so have decided cut the top short and make it as a seperate piece.

Me and Kim hit Berwick Street London yesterday to find some fabrics to suit our collections.  I was looking for some mix summer floral prints, had a look in Liberty which had a really good selection.  However I could'nt get all the samples of the ones I wanted, only one because they asked if I was a student which I now know I will never ever say that again !! At least I know to go back there when I want to buy for the collection. Found a gorgeous navy mix textured fabric in Berwick Street £65 a meter !! Got a good sample of some denim I was searching for just hope they look good in my line up ! :) 

So yesterday in the studio I was designing by extracting certain features from my first dress toile hoping to come up with something more interesting. Today I'm aiming to make a toile of a new dress shirt idea and then go back to work on the shorts !!!

Cut and replace !!
I have been playing around with some jeans using the cut and replace method to see what happens. The 1st pair I used I got some really interesting ideas from which was my dads levi's that I should'nt have cut , wrong pair ooops never mind... anyway here's the images of what I got !

Today I went to a few charity shops, wanted clothes to drape on the stand so I bought 4 pairs of jeans and 2 shirts for a tenner !Bargain , now im off to work on these to see what ideas I come up with to develop my designs :)

What to do ?!! Don't know how this works properly but here goes.

Had trouble at the start of the project as I was undecided on a concept but now I feel i'm on the right track and so I should be as I've got to get two toiles done for next week !! So here are some images of what I was working on the stand yesterday to develop more ideas ....
